Language tests

Testing is an essential part of language training. Different types of tests serve different purposes:

• At the beginning of a course (adaptive placement test)

CAPT is given to test your initial level

• Throughout the course (formative assessment)

10 progress tests are given at the end of each teaching module

• At the end of the course (normative assessment)

A final test is given

Levels are defined according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and enable students to prepare for international certification.
